Members of West Missouri’s Boys & Girls Club showcased their musical gifts during their 7th annual Rising Stars Talent Show in Sedalia, MO. The Bryant Motors team was proud to partner with our local Boys & Girls Club to present the evening’s stars. All 6 acts performed songs as individuals and in groups.
Tyler Hudson, Director of Operations of the West Missouri Boys & Girls Club, relayed his excitement at the opportunity for these kids to share their voices.
“We know all our members have special talents and it’s wonderful to be able to showcase them in this way. Last year, due to health and safety concerns, we had a very limited show with no audience. It was great to be able to host this year’s event with a crowd of families, friends and well-wishers cheering their kids on.”
For the individual award, 4th grader Brittany White took home first prize. She sang a superb rendition of “Lost Boy.” Second place winner Lydia Furrey sang “Here Too,” and third-grader Alexis Mundy won third place for “Fight Song.”
First prize for group performance, the Camp Mouseketeers sang the “Mickey Mouse Club” theme song. A tie for second place fell between a group from the CLUB and duo Adalynn and Anna. They sang “Change Your Life” and “Beautiful Mistakes,” respectively.
Bryant Motors was thrilled to present this event featuring such talented young singers. We wish them well in all their future musical endeavors!
